Identification
Test takers must bring the original, valid passport or Permanent Resident Card (PRC) used at registration for identification purposes. If not, test takers will not be permitted to take the test and will lose their test fee.
Identity Recognition
As part of IELTS continued security measures all applicants must have a photograph and finger scan performed the day of the exam. This is a mandatory procedure that must be undertaken by all test takers on the morning of their test day. More information about the verification process and data storage is available here.
Absent on Test Day
Absent test takers for any part of the test will lose the full test fee and must re-apply.
Late Arrival on Test Day
A late arrival is any time after 8:45 AM. You may not be admitted to the test centre and will be considered absent. It is the test takers responsibility to arrive on time and should check weather and transportation reports to ensure timely arrival.
Test Room Materials
Pencils and erasers will be provided by the centre. Nothing except your ID and a clear water bottle is permitted in the test room. (No labels or English words)
Electronic devices (cell phones, MP3 players, iPods, watches, etc.) are NOT permitted in the test room. We suggest candidates leave these devices at home.
Personal Belongings
A locked storage area is used to store personal belongings during morning testing but not at speaking test times. GEOS Languages Plus is NOT responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items at any time.
Note:
Please do NOT wear colognes, perfumes or aftershaves on test day as people (including staff) are allergic or sensitive to scented products.
Note that there will be a small piece of paper on top of your table with your candidate information. You can take that with you after the test as you will need the candidate number to see your result online.
Make sure to return the building access card during your speaking exam. You will be charged $70 if you fail to return the access card.
Make sure to keep the baggage number as you will need that to claim your belongings after the exam.

9:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Listening (with headphones), reading & writing sections. |
12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. | Test Centre is closed. |
1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Speaking interviews. |
Speaking Interview
**The interview time will be sent by email on the Thursday before test day.**
Test takers can leave the centre after morning testing and return for the interview. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time.
