How to register for the IELTS Test:

*Candidates can also pay at the centre with cash, debit, Visa or MasterCard. A 2% fee will be applied to all credit card payments.

Registration Deadlines, Speaking Tests & Identification
Identification
Each application MUST include:
A scanned color copy of valid Identification (Passport ID Page or Permanent Resident Card) in JPG or PNG file format, not PDF. This can be submitted during the online application, by email or at the centre.
Test takers are required to show their original valid identification used for registration throughout the test day.
If you are under 18 years of age we will also need written consent from one of your parents or legal guardian that you are allowed to take the test.
Deadlines
Document Submission & Payment Deadlines
We must receive your ID document and payment, by 12 PM, two business days after registration. (Example: Register on Monday, pay by 12 PM Wednesday)
Registrations made for a test date that is less than 10 days away (including weekend) must be completed by 12 PM next business day.
All registrations must be completed, by 12 PM, on the Wednesday before the Saturday test or they will be cancelled.
Confirmation
Once registration is completed with acceptable identification and the test fee has been submitted (online or in-person) a confirmation email will be sent by end of next business day. Only those test takers who have received confirmation will be allowed to take the test.
Speaking Test
Speaking interviews are planned on the same day as the listening, reading, & writing sections and are generally finished by 6 PM. You will receive the appointment time on the Thursday before the test day.
Speaking time requests will not be accepted. Test takers should make sure they are available all day.
Traveling To Calgary
Test takers living outside Calgary are given priority.
