Insurance and Canadian Visa Information Medical InsuranceIf you are a student from outside of Canada, GEOS Language Academy, Calgary, can provide you with emergency medical insurance for your time at our school. The cost of this insurance is $2.50 per day, and it includes 100% of the cost of visits to doctors, hospitals, and all perscription mediation. You may also obtain your own medical insurance, but we strongly recommend that you have good medical coverage while you stay in Calgary. Please contact the school for more information.   I chose this program because I wanted study and get a work experience. I took the TESOL course which is really useful for my job because I also need to teach English. This program has really helped me to get a job in a Canadian work environment. I am working in the day care center as a program director.
