Course Description

This is the perfect option for students who wish to improve their English but can only attend classes in the evenings or on Saturday. Our English class is communicative based with an emphasis on developing speaking and listening skills. It is designed to help ESL students improve both spoken and written English. This course features a comprehensive curriculum of integrated skills - grammar, vocabulary & idioms, speaking & listening, and reading & writing.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, we hope that you will be able to:

1. Communicate fluently and with confidence in most common guide situations.
2. Increase your tourism and guide vocabulary repertoire.
3. Develop increasing fluency and sophistication when using English for more specific purposes like trouble-shooting.
4. Refine and expand the use of grammatical functions.
5. Expand your reading skills necessary to interpret authentic and increasingly more technical articles written by English speakers.
6. Develop your critical thinking skills needed and required in the English speaking hospitality industry.
7. Develop effective listening skills when communicating and relating with people.
