Kevin Ellwood
School Manager
GEOS Calgary’s manager, Kevin Ellwood, has been involved in ESL education for the past 15 years. His first 3 years were spent teaching overseas, which allows him to truly understand the challenges and excitement the students feel while living in a new country and culture. The last 12 years have been spent working at GEOS in Calgary. Throughout this time he has worked in various positions that have allowed him to gain a true appreciation of the needs of international students. As well, he is a dedicated professional who understands the importance of the students reaching their goals in the quickest possible time!

 

Kaori Takase
Operations Coordinator
Kaori Takase came to Canada in 2007. She was in Ottawa before coming to GEOS Calgary in 2008 to work as a Marketing Assistant. Since that time she has expanded her duties to include Student Advisor. She is extremely knowledgeable about the school and all the programs GEOS Calgary have to offer. She is always professional and works hard to help students have the best possible experience while studying at GEOS Calgary.

 

Imelda Nicolas
Registrar and Student Accommodations Coordinator
Imelda Nicolas is the Registrar and Student Accommodations Officer at GEOS Calgary. She immigrated to Canada three years ago. Imelda taught at the Faculty of Engineering in one of the state universities in the Philippines for 11 years. While teaching, she also worked as a Registrar for four years in the same faculty. She enjoys meeting new people from different countries to learn about their culture. Her experiences as a teacher and a Registrar make her an effective addition to the GEOS Calgary team. She is always able to provide a high quality of student care at GEOS Calgary.

 

Perry Vitalis
Head teacher
Perry grew up in Montreal and Calgary. After graduating from the University of Waterloo, he worked in the field of telecommunications until discovering the world of ESL. He has taught overseas in Indonesia, Japan, and Taiwan. During that time, he faced communication challenges with the local people. From that, he gained a deeper understanding of the challenges that students face when they learn English. As Head Teacher in Calgary, Perry fully supports students in overcoming their communication challenges and reaching their goals.
